The Pousada de Ourém is found in the walled medieval borough of Ourém, majestically situated on a hill a few kilometers from Fatima.

This hotel results from the addition of a medieval hamlet with an old hospital of the mercies of the fifteenth century.

The Pousada Conde de Ourém is located on a hilltop, an authentic lookout point, with the castle walls outlined against the horizon. The Count of Ourém is a Portuguese title of nobility connected to the Bragança house.

These days the holder of the title is his royal highness, D. Duarte Pio, the 24th Duke of Bragança, 28th Count of Ourém and pretender to the Portuguese throne.

The Pousada de Ourém/Fátima is found strategically placed in the centre of the country in the historical centre of Ourém, around 1 hour from Lisbon and 2 hours from Oporto.
